Broke-Ass Book Tour: St.Louis Update

Introduction to Brian Collette and the Off Track Planet Book Tour

This guy is Brian Collette, our new community manager.

He goes to school in LA at Pitzer College and has been an avid OTP reader for some time. Talk to him about hiking, whiskey, Doctor Who, writing, reddit, hockey and anything travel. He will be keeping everyone updated as OTP’s CEO, Freddie, and his darling motorcycle Eleanor make their way across the country over the next two weeks, stopping along the way to check out the best parts of the places you call home. We’re going to be keeping you posted on his progress and may be asking for some roadside assistance or even a place to stay, so stay tuned. To see if you’re going to be along his route, check out the list below and give us a shoutout on twitter using the hashtag #watupOTP.

We’re excited to announce OTP’s newest member, Jim Weir, our Chief Operating Officer in-training.

5 Fun Facts About Jim:

1. Jim spent three years working as an attorney in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Yes, Saudi Arabia.

2. Jim is funny, even when we’re not drunk.

3. Jim gets overwhelmingly excited at the sight of corporate, financial and accounting documents. We’re equally excited for him.

4. Jim owns more suits than the total number of hoodies and plaid shirts the rest of us own, combined.

5. Jim is a passionate problem solver who thrives on making decisions under high-pressured circumstances. That’s pretty cool.

Welcome Jim, we’re super excited to have you on-board!
